Customer Reviews

IF YOURE WORRIED ABOUT THE FITi usually dont write reviews but i wanted to take the time to reassure anyone who is hesitant about the fit..I was very pleased that these fit true to size to a normal nike shoe... i wear 11 in nike, jordan and adidas, but previous to these i wore asics wrestling shoes in the gym and needed to go a full size bigger (12).. so since these are similar i was worried.. but these shoes fit normal like every other pair of casual nike or adidas shoes i have.. order your normal size with confidence.. hope i could help someone on the fence about these...and besides the size i love the feel.. very flat but not too thin... great feel5Fake? In any case i would not buy theseSo i purchased these and what i got looks like a used fake pair. Ill let the pics speak for themselves you tell me if these look like whats shown in the picture. Im returning asap..The picture looked like nice suede right, and the gray is the same tone in the picture? But these shoes look dirty and worn. The tongue is different, these ugly shoes are definitely not what i intended. Waste of time and money.1Excellent product!Excellent product! Very comfortable to workout and do my leg workout. I was exited to use them since I haven t worked out for a 1 year. Fit just as expected.5So Light and comfy!I love these shoes!! They are amazing for Krav Maga but, I did have to glue the insole in because it kept moving around on the right foot. They are light and so comfortable on the mat, so much so that I would love to get a pair for every day use. They fit perfectly maybe a little wide for a womans foot but I just tighten up the laces and am good with that. I wish they would make a woman specific shoe, one that isn't as wide and would be a little more snug than having g to use a man's shoe.4CHEAPENED BY CHINESE MANUFACTURING ?This is the third pair that I have purchased. The first was probably 15 or more years ago. They lasted 14 years by only using them in the gym. I am a martial artist and gym rat so I like the concept of the shoe's design. When I got my second pair about 6 months ago, within one day the entire fabric lining the sole insert peeled off! Duh, OK. So I added in running inserts which I had lying around, and that did the trick even though I should have returned them. Since then no problems esp. since I use these shoes kicking a very big, heavy bag. That's why I decided to get another pair so that I don't destroy my second pair in record time with all the kicking.Well, the third pair, purple color and nice looking, had a malfunction in the first week. The shoestring eyelet, the large plastic piece about half-way up the shoe snapped like a winter branch...while I was lacing the shoe up for Pete's sake! Now, I should return them but it's just more time and expense to do it. So I'm content to keep them since the snapped eyelet doesn't affect performance-which for me is kicking and moving around the gym-no big deal. But it's total BS that they should both have quality issues right out of the box.I at first suspected that it may have been a knockoff but the receipt came from Otomix so not likely. More likely is the s***ty manufacturing process in China where these shoes are made. Once again. Can anyone say Doc Martin? While these are way better than the Chinese version of Doc Martin I am still suspect. Folks, that's two big(ish) quality issues, within the first week on both new pairs of shoes. It bugs me because these shoes are not cheap, and based on my first pair, may not be as durable. They seem to have a quality control issue on some of the lesser parts of the shoe. In other words the sole and uppers seem the same as the older ones. Perhaps even a bit thicker and better? But if it turns out that they cannot endure punishment, what kind of martial arts shoe would they be?Only time will tell if there are deeper, structural issues that will cause these two new pairs to fall apart. But so far only the two issues reported here. They fit as expected, same as before. In fact, the size 8 might be just a bit roomier which is fine with me.4i really like the shoes they were just the slightest bit too ...I want to start out by saying i know all shoes are different sizes so i knew the risk of buying them online in the first place. I ordered a size 12 because the reviews i read said that said they fit as expected, however mine were too big. I proceed to contact Otomix and exchange them for a 1/2 size smaller, i really like the shoes they were just the slightest bit too big.The reason the review lost a star is because they would not pay for return shipping, you would think being a big company and selling shoes online they get this problem quite a bit, so you'd think they would understand but it sill cost me $25 to ship out to them on top of what i already paid the first time for shipping and the cost of the shoes.Despite the return shipping, i finally got my 11.5 and they fit perfect. The shoes themselves are great, i love them at the gym!Overall the review based on the shoes gets 5 stars. Just be prepared if you get them and they don't fit and you need to exchange, you will have to pay return shipping.4Pretty big even for a big size 15 footI wear a size 15. Its hard enough to find shoes that fit, but its a bigger problem shopping online because sometimes its hit or miss. In this case its a miss. The shoes look good, they don't seem to be cheaply made and have a weight to them that makes it feel in your hand like they are at least decently made with some modicum of quality. That being said, for a 15, they were way big. I had room in front of the toe plenty of space above the foot, and room on the side. That extra room really took away from any lateral support so stepping to the side in either direction the shoe would grip the may but my foot would keep on going. I pulled the laces as taut as possible but they still looked like a scrunched down sock on my foot. I thought maybe a suede/leather shoe would offer more rigidity than your typical nylon shoes but that just wasn't the case. I wouldn't say I wont by an Otomix shoe again, but definitely not one that is made of the materials this one is, and only after I can be sure their shoe fits true to size.2Might have to try different sizeI gave this shoe 3 stars; as stitching is coming off one of the shoes and have only worn for about 28 days. The sizing is off depending on what color you purchaseI originally purchased the blue shoe in a womans 7; it was to small. So I returned and got the gray in a 7 and it fits well. They are a little giving in the arch area but all in all a good weight training shoe. I always wore Otomix back in my days of bodybuilding; and have rediscovered at a much more mature age.I have not contacted the company about the size differences in color as I would love to add the blue and purple to my daily workout routines ; the shoe gets a lot of attention in the gym.The stitching on the shoe is coming unraveled at the top of toe; again not a cheap shoe to have any blemishes And not sure once the stitching begins if it will cause any fitting difference; but who wants to pay for a shoe that is going to look like its falling apart3They're very comfortable and have good ankle supportThis review is from the experience and perspective of an amateur boxer. The shoes' vibrant color and design will quite likely turn a few heads. These are a vast improvement over regular running shoes. They're very comfortable and have good ankle support. The sole grips the ground properly and offers good balance while allowing you to pivot and step properly. However, it is clear that these shoes are mainly for bodybuilding; they lack the durability for intense workouts and foot movement. The insole shifts towards your big toe due to a slippery fabric film; I ended up peeling off this film from the insole and ended up lessening the issue by about 80%, but I still have to adjust the insole position before every workout. After 2 months and a week, the sole has been falling off of the front foot side shoe which can cause issues if the rubber gets stuck on the floor while you're moving. The durability seems lacking for the fighting side of this shoe.If you do boxing or MMA purely for fitness and your workouts aren't too intensive (cardio based classes), you might have more success with these shoes than I did. I have also done weightlifting with heavy weight low rep plans and these are perfect (5/5 stars) for those. If you are doing serious boxing or wrestling training, look elsewhere for better quality and durability unless you don't mind spending the 110$ every few months.3Great support.Great . Very comfortable, makes working out feel a little better . just a bit warm but does not bother me at all, should buy about 1/2 above your regular size maybe even a full 1 up.5
