Customer Reviews

Easy to useWatch the YouTube videos on the best way to use this. This was so easy to use, one note clean the rim and install a new valve might as well because you have access anyway I installed a new valve because I could. I m going to include instructions side of the bottle in my photos this might help 5Best DealI've used this and I've used Orange Seal. Both are solid products. I give Stan's the edge because it's cheaper and it's a little bit easier to clean up.I live in thorn country. Those stupid little goat head thorns will ruin your life if you don't use sealant. Now that I'm tubeless I laugh in their faces. I can't tell you how many I have pulled out of my tires. Stan's has never failed to seal a thorn puncture for me. The 16-oz bottle is convenient and easy to use. 5GREAT PRODUCT, GOOD VALUEGreat product, good value if you're running tubeless wheels on your road or mountain bike. I originally bought 16oz, but I've helped friends refill theirs in my garage so now I'm going with 32oz. My 16oz lasted 2 years, and the consistency was just as good as new after being stored in the garage during that time.I also recommend the syringe tool Stan's NoTubes makes, it doesn't cost that much, it's reusable, cleans out easily, and makes refilling it through the presta valve easy after you remove the core. (or simplifies a refill if your solution is to just break the tire bead and pour it straight into the tire). Needs to be renewed every 6-8 months, but I've never had a flat on the trail since switching to Tubeless. 5made for tubeless but works well in a tube too.look up the crazy stans demo vids if you dont believe how magical this stuff is. foreal i got a flat on a fairly new tube. ordered this. unscrewed the presta valve, poured in an ounce or two into my 27x2.2 tire and rotated once or twice. it started hissing. i let it puddle up at the hiss and within 3 or 4 seconds it is sealed. i have put a few hundred miles on that tube since.I have also been on the trail and hit something big enough to really lower pressure but it still held enough to get to the next shop a few miles down the trail. i put air into the punctured tube and it held for the rest of the season. 5Works but seems expensive to meThis sealant works and that is one of the main reasons I am giving it a four star. However, its expensive for what it is and although its easy to clean up and inject, I think they need to reduce the price to something more reasonable I mountain bike a lot, have several bikes and the cost really adds ups. Am considering switching but don't know what to else to use as reviews are mixed. 4The original is still the best.I started running tubeless with Stan's kits back in the day of short travel suspension and 26" wheels, and was a fan. Didn't like that it would dry out and have seen more "stanimals" (the little clumps of rubber that form in the tire) than I care to recount, but this stuff still works. Have only had a couple flats that it couldn't seal, and that was almost exclusively tears in the tire that nothing short of a tire patch kit could fix.Since then, there have been many products to come out and claim to be better than Stan's. I've tried many of them - Caffelatex, Orange Seal, DT, etc... and I keep coming back to Stan's. I've had Caffelatex congeal completely inside my tire only a week or two after installation - and then fail to plug a small hole, and I've had Orange Seal dry out far sooner than I expected. Orange Seal also froze solid when riding in subzero temps this past year, something I've yet had to have happen with Stan's. I know Orange Seal has a subzero formulation - but if Stan's doesn't need it and is half the price... why bother?I only run Stan's rims - and I only run Stan's sealant. I'll keep experimenting with new things as they come out, but I'll keep this stuff in my bike that I use when it counts. 5and other scrubby trails in the Southern California foothills so I ask a lot of tires (maybe not as much as riding through thorns all the time) and I've been happy so farI realize it's called "No Tubes" but I injected my standard MTB tubes with Stan's because I saw other cyclists doing it, and whether I'm just lucky or it works... no flat tires yet! I ride rough MTB trails, fire roads, gravel, packed dirt, and single track, and other scrubby trails in the Southern California foothills so I ask a lot of tires (maybe not as much as riding through thorns all the time) and I've been happy so far. 5Unorthodox useDid not used this product as recommend. I have an old inflatable boat (zodiac style) with small leaks in very hard to seal seams and others. Tried several different external seals, spent several hrs in different attempts and $$$. About to retire the boat and then I found this product, gave it a try (nothing to lose). Worked fantastically, used this product and aired the boat a month ago. Still holding air!!! 51 TSP GLITTER + 2 OUNCES STAN'S = NO FLATS (MOUNTAIN BIKE 27.5" TIRES)I just wanted to give it 5 stars and be done with the review, but they require a description on Amazon...so I'll post my mom's secret chocolate chip cookie recipe here instead (not so secret anymore, is it, Mom!?):4 cubes butter, softened2 heaping cups dark brown sugar (packed, then heap that shiz) cups white sugar2 tablespoons vanilla1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoons baking soda3 eggs6 cups flour1 bag chocolate chips (semi-sweet or sweet)Mix BY HAND all ingredients, except flour and chips (mixing by hand makes them taste better, trust me). Then add flour and chips and stir BY HAND. Bake @ 350 for 9-11 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet. Enjoy the preciouses.Note: makes a buttload of cookies, so you might want to halve the recipe. 5Great for bikes & carsThis stuff really works. I use it on my MTB with 27.5" tubeless wheels. I've never gotten a flat in 3 years despite big rides on rough terrain. I also used it on a car tire that picked up a nail. I put in a plug, but it was still leaking slowly (5-10 psi per week). I removed the valve, squirted 5 oz of Stan's in there, re-inflated it. No more leak.Stan's dries up in about a year, so must be replenished periodically. 5
