Customer Reviews

Ultra-comfy Androgynous Dream UnderwearThis is the only, I repeat the ONLY, underwear I like and will wear on a daily basis. It is extremely convenient (not to mention usually far less expensive) to order from Amazon rather than going to a store. I recently increased my collection so that I am able to wear these every single day without having to do laundry more than every 2 weeks. Woohoo!!As a queer, tomboy-presenting female, I appreciate the simplicity and versatility of this style. These walk a fine androgynous line and can look as feminine or masculine as the bra (or lack thereof) and clothes you pair them with. I only have the more masculine colors, blue, black, gray, etc. but they come in a wide variety of colors and patterns to fit your preference. They are flattering and look exceptionally cute with a sports bra! Also, most importantly, they are COMFORTABLE and hold up to many many washings. They breathe. They never ride up inside your pants (unlike the Calvin Klein boyshorts, sadly). I can wear them to work, with tight pants or pajamas, shorts or by themselves around the house, on dates and to outdoor events and I honestly forget I am wearing underwear. I never thought I could love a pair of panties this much, but WOW!5Finally! Full cheek coverage!I have a larger butt, and I hate the feeling when my underwear doesn't cover the entire cheek area. I have tried to find underwear with full butt coverage that doesn't sit too high on the waist. This is the only kind I have found that does this. What's even better is I didn't get any wedgies like I usually do with other brands' boyshorts. These stayed in place the entire time I wore them and were incredibly comfortable. These will now be my go to underwear. One thing to note is based upon the size chart I was supposed to be a medium with my hip size (39). I ended up with a large as the medium was too tight to be comfortable. If you're on the fence about which size to get, go with the bigger size.5Not my favorite and why- w/sizing review.I love Maidenform underwear- but these are not my favorite. My FAVORITE are Maidenform PURE GENIUS BOYFRIEND PANTY. I wrote a review on those.~ I find the band around the thigh area in this panty to be uncomfortable-they hit in the wrong spot- right where we raise our leg, so it tends to bunch up.~There is a seam that sits under the bum (look at back photos on model) and it shows when wearing leggings, dress slacks and jeans. I do not understand why there is a seam RIGHT in the middle of your behind.~The waist hits about 3 -4" BELOW belly button and I prefer a 1-1 "- BUT these would be great for a low rise.~These are cotton and there is a limited amount of give- and I like LOTS of stretch or SNAP back!~I wear a 10-12 pants, 30" waist- 40" hips, 155-158 and the 7 fits. Maidenform is consistent with sizing- terrific quality.***I do not consider this a boyfriend short. I like a longer thigh seam-like a short!I did keep these and wear them- but only with skirts and some dresses-these are not my go-to panties.I hope this helps picking out a panty that fits- it shouldn't be so hard!! (:4Covers my cheeks, No panty lines! Finally, found a cotton U/W that covered by buns which resolves any panty lines showing. I first ordered this on Amazon in the polka dot & loved it. Then I saw a great sale on them at a local dept. store & loaded up. But then I discovered the ones in the store are a little different even though the same style number & look (even that same horizontal seam in the back). They look identical but 2 differences: 1) the ones in the store have a tag sewn on the back seam, the ones on Amazon are tag free, 2) the ones in the local dept. do not have as much coverage in the back the don t quite fit over the bottom of my cheeks. This one on Amazon does & is a much better fit for me. I took back the ones I purchased locally & have reordered the polka dot & the white ones from Amazon.5I love these Maidenform panties!I always purchase a size up in these Dream Boyshorts to get a more comfortable fit. I don't like too tight undies. :) I do think the cotton Maidenform panties are the normal size. In the silky ones, I have to size up.These are an adorable print and a cotton material which I like. Most of my others are the usual silky ones which I also love. I decided I need more cotton panties so of course Maidenform was my first choice. No regrets! I will continue to purchase these.I will say to make sure to double check your sizes when opening the packages if you order more than one pair. I ordered 2 and one was the larger size I wanted and one was an XS which was not the size I ordered. I ordered these from Amazon Prime, so it was their mistake. They took the return back, but didn't have my size to reorder. I'll try again later.I'm reviewing the pair that I did get to keep and use. I would order these again.5Fit great, comfortable... pricey and fadeI am 35 years old, 5'4" and 130 lbs. For the last ten years, I have wore Aerie boy briefs and boy shorts. Over the last two years, they have stopped fitting me perfect as they once did. Very sad, I have a drawer full of them, and cute ones!! Things are shifting, as they do with women, but it seems like overnight I was unable to wear the Aerie without them riding up constantly, and they never used to. So I began the search for some stay in place and comfortable undies. And wanted cotton, as it is the best for us ladies to wear. I have tried probably 10 other brands here and there. These work perfect!!! So far, so good. I bought some in store a few months ago and tested them, and now bought these to add to the collection. The seam on the bum is kind of odd, but fine by me. Thinking somehow it makes them stay in place better? None the less, they are comfy and cute at the same time. My two complaints are: they FADE very badly after just one or two washes. And they are a lil pricey. One pair was $8.50. I have seen them online at Hanes 6 for 30, and in store at Kohls 3 for 24, which is where I first bought them. Just a lot to pay for underwear. I'll say it again, men have it so easy ;-)4I thought about ordering them one size up but I honestly can't say they are too small because they fit fine otherwise. They don'I wear a size four pant most of the time. Depending on the style sometimes I go up to a six. Regardless, I have always worn size five panties. So after purchasing these in a size five and wearing them under almost everything at first I started to notice that whenever I was wearing low-waisted pants I seemed to be "rolling over" the tops just a bit, which felt uncomfortable. I wondered if I had suddenly gained weight and not noticed. I also noticed "indentations" whenever I was wearing something formfitting (like my yoga pants). Well, it turned out that these panties, which are tight at all three openings, were forming bulges that don't exist when I'm not wearing them. I discovered this by putting them on and looking at myself in the mirror. I thought about ordering them one size up but I honestly can't say they are too small because they fit fine otherwise. They don't ride up, they don't roll down, and they are comfortable. But the elastic is just tight enough to create indentations that, when combined with low-waisted pants or beneath something formfitting, create bulges. I don't think anyone else would notice this, unless they were actively looking to find something to be critical of, but I sure feel it and I am just not comfortable with it. So, although I still wear these, I have reverted to wearing thong underwear or lace briefs beneath anything that falls under the "less is more" category, which has handled the problem. The only other thing I can say about these panties is that nothing about them is even remotely alluring. They are about as unsexy as you can get, no matter what your weight or figure may be. I don't mind when that doesn't matter, but it still made me laugh when I noticed.4Recommended, even for ladies over 50.....I have purchased many of these panties, with the lace and without the lace, and they are very comfortable, 100% cotton (they do come in nylon as well, if that is what you prefer). They come in cute colors and some prints and they have replaced everything else that was in my underwear drawer. Recommended.5Maidenform Fits Better & Stays Put Better Than Any Other BrandThese are quality boyshorts. I wouldn't say they are exactly what I am looking for, but they fit very nicely and I may be won over. I am usually a size 4 panty, but the 5 fits very well. I was hoping for a bit more leg, however coverage is very good in the front and back, like a very smooth brief without the panty line like bikini briefs do, especially if you have just a little more fat than the model in the ad. I am in no means fat, but have sufficient padding and these are very smooth in the back. The leg will barely roll/ride up and not nearly as much as other boyshorts. I like that they conform and hug your body and stay put. Overall, these feel so much more comfy than a brief. These don't cut into you, pinch or creep or wedge where they shouldn't. I think I am falling in love with them.5They're not bad but I'm not over the moon in love with ...They're not bad but I'm not over the moon in love with them. The texture, which is definitely a man-made/elasticity cotton blend, is not nearly as soft as I expected; it's even kind of rough to the touch. (These are 89% cotton and 11% elastine). I haven't washed them yet though so I don't know if they get softer with washing or not or how well they hold up over time. They're also much more full coverage than I expected - definitely the full brief kind of boy shorts, not cute or cheeky in the least. In the model pic here they seem to sit lower on the hips but the picture on the tag they come with is more accurate (they sit higher up and go a bit lower). I got a 6 (M) and they fit comfortably enough, although the top band and the inner bottom hem/seams are a tad snug. (I'm about 5' 135lb). Good lounging underwear when you don't care whether you look or feel "sexy" or not.3
