Description

Fabric Fabric wicks sweat alway from your skin, pulling it to the garment's surface and evaporation. This keeps your body cool, dry and light,so you can keep working hard. This compression massages the muscles to help work out lactic acid. Leg Grippers The Leg Gripper or Leg band is a feature you will see in most all bike shorts. These grippers or compression is important to prevent the shorts from riding up in the legs. Size Cycle shorts should fit snug with the pad close to the skin or potential benefits of wearing them will be negated. A correctly sized pair of road shorts is essential to make sure that you get the most out of them. When looking at the manufacturer size chart, you will be able to fit into the size bigger or smaller with varying degrees of compression. We suggest the use of the manufacturer's size chart. If you want the garment to fit you loosely, you can go up a size. Cycling Shorts should fit snug. Care of Pants Padded Bike Shorts need to be laundered each use. The best way care for road shorts is to machine wash and air dry. Padded Bike Shorts are worn "without underwear". We highly recommend the use and frequent application of an anti-chafe cream for long distance rides. Customer Reviews

Very good, even for a fat girl!Love these shorts. Fit great. I m 235lbs and love how high these come up on my waist. The legs stay in place and the shorts are overall invisible under a pair of capris. Decent padding. Doesn t feel too much like a diaper but has enough to keep me comfortable. I would recommend these 5They do run a little bigI really like these biking shorts, as they are very comfortable, and the padding is perfect. In other brands, I wear a small. I kept the small that I ordered in these, but they are a little big, and the padding is more "diaper" like because of it. An extra-small would have fit better. In Pearl Izumi, I wear a small. I am 5'3", 130#, and in slacks I wear a size 3-4, in jeans I wear a size 1-2. I have larger thighs, and the thigh area is pretty comfortable, definitely not too snug, but the crotch area is pretty roomy. Hope this helps. 5Run big, pad not wide enough in the crotch area for my needs, but great for a person that sits upright. While I think these shorts would work fine for someone that sits upright on her bike, they won't do at all for someone such as myself that leans forward. Also definitely not for a Selle SMP bike seat as one sits more in the crotch area than on the isicheal crests. The pad on the sit bones was crazy thick. It should work well for someone that sits on that area. Unfortunately, the pad in the crotch area, where I need the padding, wouldn't cover my daughter at a few months old, much less a grown woman. Perfect if one does not need the pad on the sides as it won't bunch too badly in the interior leg. Unfortunately, that is part of the area that I need padding. These aren't super high quality shorts, but much better than I expected for the price. Also, the chart was off as my waist size indicated I needed an XXXLarge. I ordered a plain Large and they still swallowed me. If I'd liked the pad, I think I would have needed a medium and maybe even a small. I think the size chart is way off for at least the pair designated as "Dark Blue" that has the mesh. This model also had the turquoise pad. Those with a pink pad may be entirely different as I do not know as I only ordered the pair with the turquoise pad.UPDATE: I've had several people ask me what shorts I finally settled upon. I ended up ordering the Endura FS-260 Pro Wide Chamois bibs here on Amazon. They were pricey at $189, but worth every penny. Endura seems to understand that women come in different bone widths enabling one to order chamois that are wide, medium, or narrow. I've ordered a second pair and plan to buy more. The Enduras have a zipper that unzips around the rear so that the seat drops to enable going to the bathroom without stripping naked. The chamois was indeed wide and covered all of my sit bones and sit areas while still being comfortable! The only chamois that actually did this for me. I can't begin to rave enough about these bibs. I have spent thousands trying to find the perfect bibs for my old, butt and have finally found success. The do seem to run big as I had to order a small; so if you order a pair be aware. 4The most helpful review you'll readTried on a pair of name brand IQ shorts at the store. They were $80 and "ok" in terms of comfort. So I passed and my boyfriend (advid mtb-er) said to look online as this will be my FIRST time biking.Fast forward; I found these. The size I tried on at the store (in the I brand) was a large.I read ALL of the reviews for these and some said they run so small. Others said fit great. So I took a chance and ordered the size I tried on. Large.I am 5'5 and 155lbs. I have a 34" waist and larger thighs (the thing every girl hates) these shorts are FANTASTIC! they fit perfectly. Just snug enough to stay on and be slimming enough to fit UNDER a pair of leggings (pictured) but they don't cut off circulation in my thighs AND they don't roll up from my thighs being "bigger" than my waist. The padding is just right (from what I can tell. Haven't used them on a bike yet) and again, doesn't look obviously bulky under yoga pants/leggings. 5The padding is nice and thickI am 5'9" and a size 12. I got the xl and they fit very well. They are a little snug at the bottom. However, they stay in place and don't ride up while biking. The padding is nice and thick. Great for a long ride. I will probably purchase them in another color. Overall good quality for a good price. 4Sizing guesswork? Yeah, me too... But at 5;5"/135lbs - here's what I got and why!First - this is my first pair of "real" bike shorts with padding, and I absolutely love them!! For most of my rides I'm fine without, but I find that with hillwork or trying out singletrack riding the shorts are definitely the way to go! So there's that...As for the padding - I saw a couple of people say they felt like diapers. Not my experience at all. It was barely noticeable. Now that said - I'm guessing it depends on your build. I am 5'5", 135 lbs, and pretty "athletic" in frame. I have a straight bust to hip line, meaning I am not super curvy in the waist. I have a fairly flat rear, and at 50 years old I am very fit but have definitely lost some of my natural padding. Again - the padded shorts are a big help for sure. I love them, and am buying another pair right now!Ok... now on the whole sizing issue. I had a really hard time discerning sizing from the chart and the wide variety of sizing reviews. Again, I'm petitish, fitish, and compact. My normal pant size is a 6, small, but that can vary depending on the style and maker. After MUCH reading, reading, and re-reading I went with the medium. The medium shorts are just fine. They are not tight, and also not loose. They fit against my skin with no slippage or bunching and were comfortable during the ride.I do think I could have gone with a small if looking for slightly more compression fit, but I'm sticking with the medium on the 2nd pair as well. My "size" does fluctuate across the month, so I don't want to have days where these pinch or bind.Again, you need to read the reviews carefully, but also consider your shape and your fit preference. I do not like tight clothing. I do not like to feel anything I am wearing! ha! So at 5'5", compact body with a fit/athletic build (I do yoga 1-2 x week, ride 3-7 miles 2-3 x week, and walk about 2 miles a week), 50 years (meaning there is natural gravity effect!), straight build without much waist indentation and moderate hips/rear.... I got a Medium and am getting a second pair in this size. 5Good for beginner riders.Good for beginner riders who sit upright with up right handlebars. The padding of these shorts is more at the rear end, making it good for those who sit upright. The padding is much lighter in the middle and toward the front, and the pants are not so good for bikers who have drop down handlebars and who lean forward and who are series bikers.. 3Do Not Size Up!I bought these for my first long distance ride - 22 miles. I needed comfort and padding for the distance AND the hills! I listened to the other reviewers (I shouldn t have) and sized up to a size Medium instead of my usual size Small. I am 5 4 and 125lbs. I wear a size 4 shorts/jeans. Cycle shorts are supposed to be fitted and snug. If you size up like I did, it defeats the purpose of the foam padding. If they re too big, your padding is not positioned as it should be. Bummer! I did okay on my ride but from now on, I m sticking with my normal size. 5I really like these shortsI really like these shorts. The first pair I ordered was actually too large. Fearing the sizing issues of past orders i went with a 3x (I wear a 14/16 regular) and it was way too big. I like these to fit really tight and the 3X was too easy to get on. I then returned and exchanged with a 2X and although it could technically be a little tighter, i will keep that one. The padding does fit weird but that could be because it is new still and hasn't been worn or washed a few times. Other than that, the style is pretty and the colors are vibrant. Hoping the matching jersey that goes with it fits well. 5This helped my butt! This is the first pair of bike shorts I have ever purchased. I have been hesitant to buy bike shorts as I thought they would make me feel uncomfortable and awkward. However the pain in my nether regions after even a short bike ride prompted me to finally take the plunge.I decided on this particular brand , purely based on other reviews.I am approximately 5'10 and 170 pounds, most of my unwanted weight is in my gut area. I ordered an xlarge , based on size chart and others input. They fit great, I probably could have gotten away with a large , as they do stretch out a little bit, but I prefer a looser fit over too snug. The padding does take some getting used to, but that's to be expected. The most importantl take away is that the padding and shorts have made a noticeable difference, during and after my bike rides.I went on a 15 mile ride yesterday and I had no discomfort anywhere, which is wonderful as now I feel confident that I can ride farther and not worry about any pain in those areas. Also, the product arrived in very nice packaging. My only small complaint, which I believe others had, is that the band around the legs can be a little too tight. That can be easily remedied though, so not a deal breaker for me.I would definitely not hesitate to buy another pair of shorts or similar products from this company. 5
