    MUCH bigger than picturedWeirdly, I reviewed this (negatively, but politely) about 2 weeks ago, and I see my review got thrown away. Hmm. Not the first time I've seen that happen.Trying again: I ordered two of these (different styles), both in medium, which are supposed to be for 38-40" chests. My chest measures 44". So a medium SHOULD be stupidly snug (a la Jersey Shore). But nope. Both were hanging off me. And both tags said "medium."No other concerns. No weird smell. Stitching looked fine. The fabric felt fine. The look was alright, if not quite that magically flattering cut that virtually all Nike sportwear seems to have figured out (and charges for!).I could have reordered in a small, just to try, but the return shipping is deducted from your return credit, so I opted out of that game.There are many things that online shopping is great for. But I am coming to conclude that online Clothes shopping is just a bad idea. You Have to try it on. And paying for shipping for every try-on is a problem. UPDATE: After this, I tuned into Amazon Prime Wardrobe (https://smile.amazon.com/learn-more-prime-wardrobe/b?ie=UTF8&node=16122413011&sa-no-redirect=1) which is designed exactly to overcome this problem. I tried it on a subsequent round of clothes shopping, and was very happy with it. No return shipping cost, and no restocking fee, for things you don't want to keep. ... I hope folks don't abuse it too much, since clearly the cost just goes to the general Amazon overhead that we all pay for. But regardless, for the individual, it makes sense to use Amazon Prime Wardrobe. I like the fit so well I will probably order in another color.5Perfect for working outBuy this shirt! This is not a joke. Joe's is the real deal for athletic / technical shirts at reasonable prices. Perfect for working out, running, hiking, working outdoors. Anywhere where you need to wick sweat and stay cool and dry. Any where that cotton's moisture holding could kill you. You can pay $30 for nike or adidias or $40 for Patagonia or other outdoor brands and not get a better shirt. Keep in mind that I would call this old-school sizing though. Runs a little big by today's standards. I'm 6ft and 205lbs with a muscular build and the Large fits just right, and not too tight. If you are between sizes, size down.5Runs LargeThe shirt itself looks well made, my complaint is the sizing. I followed the chart and ordered the medium, which is what I wear. This shirts tag says medium, but I believe it's a large. Way to loose on me. I looked on the tag and did not find where it was made. If you look at the picture, the blue shirt on top is my medium shirt and the black /red is the shirt I ordered. As you can tell it's bigger. I was going to order the different colors, but I'm glad I only ordered 1 to see.3Fits as a "TALL"I usually buy tee shirts from Duluth Trading since they have good, tall ones. I'm heading to Barbados in the Spring and wanted something lighter. I'd never bought clothes from Amazon before, but I saw these and thought "what the hell, it's only 13 bucks". They came quickly, they've very light, they wick, and BEST OF ALL, they're tall enough that they cover my belly (not that it's all that big!). I'm 6'1" and these shirts qualify as a "TALL". I've ordered several from Amazon and a couple through Amazon from the manufacturer. I couldn't be happier. By the way, did I mention that the way the stripes flow makes me look SKINNER?!?!?!? Look at JOE's website...they have lots of other things I'm going to try!5My new favorite workout shirtI'm 5-9, 147 and this is a little loose and long for my preference. The color is a little brighter than the picture, but very nice fabric. I work out(lift weights) then play basketball in these and stay relatively dry in this shirt. In addition, I'm not overheating like I would a normal T-shirt.I would highly recommend this shirt, it's very attractive and it keeps you cool and dry. I've washed this shirt 3 times and no signs of wear or pilling up.4I have bought multiple shirts from this company and loved them! But the company is now additionally sourcing from Madagascar. The shirts from the new supplier in Madagascar are very large: wide and long. I just received four shirts in my latest order... two from each country and what a huge size difference between them! So now I have to return two of them and figure out how to specify that I only want the Chinese made in the future????3Sizing is way off, Where is the Quality Assurance?I ordered a 2XL in the maroon color. Reading all the reviews I normally buy a 3XL, but sizes reported seemed to say they run large. Maroon shirt came, it fit well. Quality was good for the price. So 4 stars for the maroon shirt. I then ordered the Navy/with white stripe shirt. Navy arrived and when matched up with the maroon, it was 2 to 3 inches shorter. Had to return it. Where is the quality assurance? how do 2 shirts of the same 2XL size be so much different in length?2Great tennis shirtI play tennis pretty much every day so need a lot of shirts. I bought two of these and liked them so much I have bought some more just to keep in reserve in case they are ever unavailable. As other reviewer's have commented, they run slightly large, I am 6ft and 184 pounds and size medium is just fine and not too tight. Nice colors and great value for money.5Love ItI've been using this shirt on a 6 week trip in Southeast Asia. It is an athletic trim fit shirt so it fits well. It also makes a great travel shirt because it takes almost no space in a suitcase compared to a typical cotton shirt.5
