Description
- GREAT FOR EXPERTS: The Kore 105 is the ultimate lightweight freeride ski which has versatility for all-mountain adventures; it has power enough for aggressive skiers, excellent float, and lightness and responsiveness for varied terrain
- ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION: The super light sandwich construction makes up one of the worlds lightest freeride skis by utilizing Graphene, two different carbonlayers, as well as replacing the surface with a polyester fleece
- STRUCTURED UHM C BASE: The same high-quality material used in Head's world-leading race skis is used for the ski development - different structured running base for all conditions
- HIGH-PERFORMANCE SKIS: The new KORE construction reduces weight without sacrificing performance, thanks to a combination of Graphene, Karuba wood and multi layers of carbon; as a result, the ski is nimble, powerful, and versatile in any conditions
- VERSATILE & DURABLE: The Kore 105 has just the right width for soft snow at 105mm in the waist and is super nimble with a 17.8m turning radius; HEAD's new topsheet shape adds durability for hard-charging freeride skiers
The Head Kore 105 has been a favorite of freeride skiers for a few years now, and with a revamped construction, just like the rest of the line, it comes back this year in an even more impressive fashion. Head wanted to make the Kore even lighter than it was before so they thinned out the profile of the wood core, removed the Koroyd layer and replaced with another damping material ultimately leading to a more agile ski. If youve skied a Kore, you know it feels like there's nothing on your feet. Its pretty crazy and it certainly makes life easier in deep snow, tight terrain and steep lines. Despite it being so light, the amount of power generated by this ski is quite impressive. There arent too many other skis with such a perfect strength to weight ratio. The power, which usually comes as a result of a heavier construction, is created with a fraction of the weight through the use of different composite materials. In terms of shape, the Kore 105 features tip and tail rocker, as well as some early taper in the tip. Both of these design attributes create tons of maneuverability and the ability to dictate your turn shapes. Freeride skiers looking for a versatile ski that places an emphasis on soft snow should definitely check out the Head Kore 105.
