    Have a ball with this bag!Some of these reviews confuse me.First, the backstory. I joined a bowling league for the first time in 20 years. I have a great Ebonite 2-ball rolling bag that is still in terrific shape after more than 20 years (kept inside, mind you). On the first night of bowling, as I go to remove my old (but dependable) blue Hammer bowling ball, I notice my extra ball is split in two. Gosh!So, deciding to stick with what works (and rolling a 223 on the first night helped that decision), I decided I needed a single ball bag.After scouring the net and some local brick and mortars, I selected this bag (in blue, 'natch).It's great!The ball fits nicely on the standard foam bottom, with plenty of room for the bowling towel. The space for shoes is more than ample for my average-sized feet and the pocket for doodads (such as everything in your pockets and, of course, the cell phone) is large enough for everything and more!The bag looks good, sits well, carries well and pretty much ticks off every box. I see quibbles in the various reviews and, if you're a quibbler, sure, you can do so.If you're simply a bowler, looking for utility, attractiveness and a darn fine bowling bag at a fantastic price, here it is! 5Great bagI began bowling in a league and needed my own equipment. This bag is great for what I needed it for. There is a separate pocket that fits my shoes (size 9 women s) with plenty of room to spare. The ball pocket has foam on the bottom which gives some protection and also keeps it from rolling around in the car. There is also extra space in the ball pocket for additional items such as a towel and cleaner and still some room to spare. The front pocket is perfect for my personal essentials like my wallet and cell phone. It is well made, I expect to be using it for years to come. 5A strike in my book ;)I recently bought my first bowling ball and I bought this bag based on the reviews and style of the bag. I will get straight to the point on this one.Pros:Shoulder strap, beats having to carry it with your hands!Compartments, comes with a pocket for your shoes, bowling ball, and a small section to put cards, coins, etc...Foam ball mount, keeps bowling ball from shifting around while you carry it around.Quality, seems really sturdy and I can picture it lasting for a while.Cons:Shoulder strap, even thought it is convenient the padding isn't that thick. Carrying it on your shoulder for long does hurt a little.Foam ball mount, picture a foam square with a circle cut out in the middle. Of course it'll help with keeping the ball in place but there is no padding for the bottom of the bowling ball. If you accidentally drop it the ball will hit the ground first with little to no padding at all.For being my first bowling ball bag, I am really satisfied. Worth the price and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for one. 4Great bag for 1 ball! Many pockets!I recently got into bowling. Around January time actually. And I quickly fell in love with the sport. Eventually, I picked up my first high performance bowling ball and had to get a bag rather than carrying it around. This bag has everything that I could ask for. A spot for my ball which also comes with a custom cut foam pad to prevent the bowling ball from cracking. A section for your bowling shoes. A small pocket to put your belongings and towels in. And a comfy handle along with a strap to carry on your shoulder. I have been using this bag for a near two months and have no complaints about it. But now I have three bowling balls and I mainly use 2 ( one performance one spare ball) time to upgrade! 5Outstanding single ball bagYou won't find a better bang for your buck than this single ball bag. There's more than enough room for my size 11 shoes in the side pocket, keeping them separated from the rest of the bag. The foam used in the ball area is high density, so it's stiff and will hold up to the abuse of having a heavy ball dropped on it constantly. As we were walking into the bowling alley and he was trying to carry his ball, shoes, and socks I thought to myself, i'm going to surprise him with a bowling ball bag.I purchased this and he loves it. There is a foam ball holder in the main compartment. His bowling shoes fit perfectly in the side pocket and I threw a pair of clean socks in there. The front pouch is perfect to hold a wallet or cell phone or any other bowling related items. He now doesn't look weird trying to juggle carrying all his bowling stuff in! This product definitely fits the intended purpose and seems to be great quality. 5It does the jobOverall this is a decent bowling ball bag. It holds everything you would need easily. My only two complaints are:1. No ventilation in the shoe compartment. This means that if your shoes start to smell then so will the bag. This can be remedied with some sort of freshener that you place in that compartment.2. The padding underneath the bowling ball is not very good. It is relatively thick, but it compresses way too easily. Even placing it pretty gently on a table, you will hear a loud thud of the ball hitting the table. I have a Brunswick bag I got for free that retails for roughly $10 that has a much better foam piece.For the price I can t complain too much and I do like it overall. Can t go wrong with this purchase. 4Great bag but could use a better ball cup.Boy was this nice than I expected or dared to hope! I thought it was going to be huge, looks so big in the pictures but is actually just a bit bigger than the bowling ball. The orange and black look awesome together and the orange is not a glaring neon orange. Just a classy looking bag that has brought me quite a few compliments from other bowlers at the lane.The show bag on the side fits my size 9 women's, flat- side to side with room to spare. I'm sure a larger shoe would be placed on their sides. The accessory pouch in the front holds more than it looks like it would and you still have lots of room left inside where the ball sits.The only place I think they dropped the ball, (Pun intended...sorry) is with the ball cup, or lack thereof. That's the reason I deducted 1 star...There is a foam square with a hole in the middle to hold your ball in place. I guess it does the job but I know it wont for long and my ball roll just a little when I pick the bag up and swing it onto my shoulder. Also it allows for the center to sink into itself because it gives the ball area no support at all. I'm thinking of using the bottom of the ball box to shore it up--have to see how that works and f it makes the bag to heavy. Otherwise I am happy as can be with this bag 4Great bag for a great price!I've used this bag for about a year now and I have to say it is of good quality. The zippers and seams are well made and hold well. I love that it has separate compartments for the ball, my shoes and a smaller compartment for miscellaneous items. The large compartment that holds the bowling ball is roomy and has a Styrofoam base with a hole cut in it to hold the bowling ball in place. The side compartment holds my shoes easily (size 7 wide) could fit much larger shoes with no problem. In the small compartment in the front, I keep my rosin bag, there's a clip to keep your keys in place and several pockets to hold pens, small notebook, name cards and money. The carrying straps are durable also and have padding on them to keep strain off your shoulder. There are also rubber "feet" on the bottom of the bag adding stability and protection. I use this bag at least once a week, it gets thrown around in the car and I'm very pleased at how well it's held up. No rips, it wipes off easily and the zippers and straps are like new. I'm very pleased with this purchase. 5Great budget bagMy 11 year old started his first bowling league. He got a ball with the price of the league, so I bought him shoes and then this bag to carry his shoes and ball. I have no complaints. As other said, the foam padding does allow the ball to roll a bit, because the compartment is slightly big for the ball. I took another reviewer s advice, though, and cut down the box the ball came in, and slit the side and then used that to be a bit of extra reinforcement along the bottom and a few inches up the sides of the ball. My son wears a men size 10 shoe (?!) and they fit perfectly up and down in the shoe compartment. I don t really have anything to compare to.... so it seems fine. Obviously a nice, heavily padded, rolling bag would be nicer, but there is nothing wrong with this bag for those on a budget or for a first bowling bag, and it does everything it needs to do. It does not seem to be made of an overly cheap material, and it is what I expected. Decent purchase. 5
